The Stance E+ Frame Platform and SyncDrive System Explained
Giant builds the Stance E+ frame from ALUXX SL aluminium, a higher-grade alloy than standard ALUXX that allows for more refined tube shaping. The motor and battery are integrated within the frame rather than bolted on externally, which keeps the Stance E+'s weight distribution natural and handling predictable, important for riders new to electric mountain bikes.
The SyncDrive Sport motor (Sport3 on the E+ 0, Sport2 on the E+ 1 and E+ 2) is Giant's own motor unit, developed to deliver pedal assistance with a smooth, proportional feel. The EnergyPak battery is sized to the model, 625Wh on the E+ 0 for longer days on the trails, with smaller capacity options on E+ 1 and E+ 2. The full suspension system uses a linkage geometry suited to trail riding with 130mm of rear travel.
The Stance E+ range is available at Sprockets Cycles on Ayr Road, Kilmarnock. Our staff can walk you through the motor modes, range expectations on local terrain, and which specification suits your riding level and budget. Test rides are available in store.

FAQs
-
How does the Giant Stance E+ compare to the Giant Reign Advanced E+?
The Stance E+ uses an ALUXX SL aluminium frame with SyncDrive Sport motor — it is positioned as an accessible trail e-MTB. The Reign Advanced E+uses an Advanced-Grade composite frame with SyncDrive Pro motor and enduro geometry. The Reign Advanced E+ is significantly more capable on aggressive terrain; the Stance E+ is better suited to trail centres and cross-country riding where cost and weight are considerations.

What is the battery range on the Giant Stance E+?
Battery range depends on assist mode, terrain, and rider weight. The Stance E+ 0 uses a 625Wh EnergyPak β in Eco mode on moderate trails, this typically provides 60β90km of range. In Trail or Sport mode on steep terrain, range will be shorter. Giant's RideControl system allows you to monitor battery level and adjust assist modes while riding. -
Is the Giant Stance E+ suitable for beginners to mountain biking?
Yes β the Stance E+ is a strong choice for riders new to full suspension or new to electric mountain bikes. The motor assists on climbs and the full suspension absorbs trail irregularities, which together lower the barrier to trail riding. The geometry is confidence-inspiring without demanding the technical input needed for more aggressive e-MTB designs. -
