Marin Alcatraz 1 Dirt Jump Bike
The Alcatraz 1 allows the rider to follow in Matt Jones’ footsteps to build and personalise the best dirt jump bike possible. At home boosting your local 6-pack, ripping up the pump track, or hitting the local skate park the Alcatraz has what you need to take care of business.
The Series 3 aluminium frame is built for the hard knocks and is stiff enough for lightning-fast acceleration and tough enough for the heavy hits. Short stays keep manuals easy and ambidextrous cable routing means you can run your brake on the left or right of the bars. There’s a suspension-corrected CrMo fork, front and rear Tektro disc brakes, Vee Tire rubber and plenty of bombproof Marin components. Best of all, it’s available in two frame sizes, regular and long.
SERIES 3 ALUMINUM FRAME
The Alcatraz features a 6061 Series 3 alloy frame, with a burly double butted tubesets for the best ride quality and stiffness, tapered headtubes for maximum strength on big jumps, and horizontal drop out with slotted IS disc brake tabs.
SHORT CHAINSTAYS
Marin have optimised the chainstay length of the Alcatraz to make sure you can have the shortest chainstays possible, giving you the ability to pop a wheelie or manual anywhere at anytime.
135X10MM HORIZONTAL DROPOUTS
The Alcatraz features 135x10mm horizontal dropouts — the standard in dirt jump technology for axle and dropout strength.
DIRT JUMP SPECIFIC SUSPENSION FORK
100mm travel X-Fusion Slant DJ-specific fork with air spring, compression and rebound damping, and tapered alloy steerer tube.

Free delivery is available for orders over £75 and is a 2 working day service.
Orders placed before 12pm Monday to Thursday will be shipped the same day for next day delivery. Orders placed after 12pm Thursday and onwards will be shipped on Monday.
DUE TO THE CURRENT HIGH DEMAND, DELIVERY TIME FOR BIKES IS 3-5 DAYS. ALL PARTS AND ACCESSORIES ARE STILL 1-2 DAYS.

DPD offer an excellent delivery service, with full tracking information and an hour time slot given on the day of delivery. You can also change the destination of your parcel, including local drop off points.

RETURNING ACCESSORIES
The goods must be returned within 14 days from the day they are received/signed for.
Goods that are unsuitable, ordered by mistake or size errors must be returned at your cost in their original condition along with all packaging intact & paperwork intact and in a re-sellable condition, in these cases postage costs will not be refunded. If a replacement size is needed by yourself there will be an additional £3.95 delivery charge. If returning goods within the 14 day policy, you are under a duty to keep them in your possession and to take reasonable care of them until they are returned.
You should retain proof of postage until we inform you that the returned items have been received safely by us. We will not take responsibility for lost mail unless a signature has been attained for the item at Sprockets Cycles.
DAMAGED GOODS
If your goods are damaged in transit, we need to be notified of the damages within 24 hours of delivery to set up a claim with our courier company.
Items that are damaged or delivered in error are subject to the same basic conditions & expectations, however, should any claim for the above be valid, we will promptly refund any postage costs.
Please ensure you send a legible cover note including your receipt & contact details with all returns. This will provide clarity on the reason for return of the item & speed up the returns process.
*Unfortunately, exchanges or refunds are not allowed if the Goods have been specially made to order, personalized or altered to fit. These items do however come with their applicable warranty periods.
