You can shift manually or opt for SEMI_SYNCHRO modes - a bit like having your own personal shift assistant! Or you can stick to manual. Whatever you prefer!

A Drivetrain for Diverse Riders

Each component of the new SHIMANO 105 Di2 electronic drivetrain ecosystem has been meticulously engineered to work as one. Operating quietly in the background, it brings no delay shifts with no loss of power to help you preserve your energy. You can also take on steeper slopes with the 11-36T 12-Speed Cassette in combination with the compact 50-34T crankset - the low gear you have always wanted. In fact, the compact crankset in front and 12-Speed cassette in the rear offers ample set-ups for all terrains - from flat roads to rolling hills - and for all riders. What's more, the narrow 12-Speed chain ensures reliability.

A Brake System for All Conditions

Slowing down never felt so good. Braking comes to 105 Di2 like never before and allows everyone to learn the joys of pushing their limits and braking. The brand new piston design of the hydraulic disc brakes means lighter, faster and smoother control - in all conditions. While the quieter braking system - with a 10% greater pad clearance than 105 R7070 disc brakes - won't disturb your ride in wonderland. Plus the simpler brake fluid bleeding process makes it more maintenance friendly.
