Following extensive lab-based and real world testing DT's engineering team in Biel decided that there was really only one place to go ... carbon!
A true all-rounder, the XMC family has a heritage that includes everything from Olympic gold medals to downhill speed record attempts, the XMC 1501's are designed to be the perfect lightweight, sturdy companions for big days out in all terrains.
At the very centre of this system are the new Ratchet EXP 240 hubs the simplest, most reliable and lightest 240 hubs DT have ever made proving that DT remain the undisputed masters of ratchet technology.
Ratchet EXP reduces the number of moving parts inside the hub and allows a wider bearing spacing, improving overall stiffness whilst improving bearing life and reducing drag, the hub still retains DT's easy tool-free servicing and ability to be worked on trailside if required.
Further weight is saved by the new Swiss-made Comp Race spokes that are butted down to 1.6 mm, making them not only lighter, but give a more forgiving and damped ride, offsetting the added stiffness the move to a carbon rim often brings, just another benefit of designing and manufacturing the entire wheel system in house.

RETURNING ACCESSORIES
The goods must be returned within 14 days from the day they are received/signed for.
Goods that are unsuitable, ordered by mistake or size errors must be returned at your cost in their original condition along with all packaging intact & paperwork intact and in a re-sellable condition, in these cases postage costs will not be refunded. If a replacement size is needed by yourself there will be an additional £3.95 delivery charge. If returning goods within the 14 day policy, you are under a duty to keep them in your possession and to take reasonable care of them until they are returned.
You should retain proof of postage until we inform you that the returned items have been received safely by us. We will not take responsibility for lost mail unless a signature has been attained for the item at Sprockets Cycles.
DAMAGED GOODS
If your goods are damaged in transit, we need to be notified of the damages within 24 hours of delivery to set up a claim with our courier company.
Items that are damaged or delivered in error are subject to the same basic conditions & expectations, however, should any claim for the above be valid, we will promptly refund any postage costs.
Please ensure you send a legible cover note including your receipt & contact details with all returns. This will provide clarity on the reason for return of the item & speed up the returns process.
*Unfortunately, exchanges or refunds are not allowed if the Goods have been specially made to order, personalized or altered to fit. These items do however come with their applicable warranty periods.
