Why choose the MX Expert Edition?
The ‘Sting MX Expert Edition’ includes the Manitou Dorado Expert USD Forks. The Dorado forks are a legendary heritage model, re-engineered with a new 37mm chassis, improved internals too. However, this inverted fork design continues to offer the benefits of constant lubrication of the bushings and seals for a silky smooth ride. Their fore-aft stiffness and longer bushing style helping to maintain torsion compliance and as a result better rider control, with improved steering accuracy and traction helping reduce fatigue. With the Dorado Expert weighing in at around .68 kg less than the standard forks, they will react quicker on rough terrain, thus maintaining better contact with the surface. With a suggested retail of over £1300 they offer a superior upgrade to the front suspension on the Expert Edition, beyond that on the standard MX model.
The Dorado Expert forks employ a half cartridge version of the TPC+ system. This reduces the pressure loss during rebound by separating the check-valve from the compression pistons. This new high flow check-valve improves flow and in turn assists with small bump compliance and increased damping consistency. The end of stroke consistency is also improved, by moving the HBO circuit inside the damping cartridge and submerging it into the damping fluid. The forks new 37mm stanchions offer the perfect balance of improved stiffness and weight saving, as well as an ideal seal surface. These forks are a 20% improved stiffness when compared to the earlier 36mm version. The unique internal Dorado Air Spring balances the positive and negative air pressure in the air chambers, adding consistency of spring rate avoiding any flat or dead spots caused on a ‘Dimple’ system. Finally the Incremental Volume Adjust (IVA) allows the rider a perfect range of adjustment of the Dorado Air system.

RETURNING ACCESSORIES
The goods must be returned within 14 days from the day they are received/signed for.
Goods that are unsuitable, ordered by mistake or size errors must be returned at your cost in their original condition along with all packaging intact & paperwork intact and in a re-sellable condition, in these cases postage costs will not be refunded. If a replacement size is needed by yourself there will be an additional £3.95 delivery charge. If returning goods within the 14 day policy, you are under a duty to keep them in your possession and to take reasonable care of them until they are returned.
You should retain proof of postage until we inform you that the returned items have been received safely by us. We will not take responsibility for lost mail unless a signature has been attained for the item at Sprockets Cycles.
DAMAGED GOODS
If your goods are damaged in transit, we need to be notified of the damages within 24 hours of delivery to set up a claim with our courier company.
Items that are damaged or delivered in error are subject to the same basic conditions & expectations, however, should any claim for the above be valid, we will promptly refund any postage costs.
Please ensure you send a legible cover note including your receipt & contact details with all returns. This will provide clarity on the reason for return of the item & speed up the returns process.
